How are the the three stages of cell respiration connected to each other?

Using the diagram below, explain:
a) What the overall goal of cell respiration is b) What happens in each of the THREE stages of cell respiration What is the relationship between the rate of photosynthesis and:
a) light intensity b) temperature c) carbon dioxide concentration (Need help? See p. 103 of your textbook) a) How are autotrophs connected to photosynthesis and anabolism?
b) What are the reactants and products of photosynthesis? Hit "Submit" after answering the above questions, and then follow the directions below to set up your Google Classroom account. (We will be using this in place of Edmodo this semester.) 1. Go to the Google sign-in page. 2. Sign in to your school Google account. If you do not know your username and password, see below: Username: s<ID#>@wcusd200.org Password: wcusd200 (you will change this after logging in successfully) You may need to accept the terms of using the account. Accept them. You have a school email account using this login; it is expected that you will check it on a regular basis. Mrs. E can send out class announcements to your school emails, and it is expected that you will receive them. 3. Go to Google Classroom (classroom.google.com). 4. Scroll down until you see "I'm a student." Click on that button. 5. Click the plus at the top of the page. 6. Enter the code for YOUR CLASS PERIOD below: 1st period: 7k8zai3 2nd period: 7ptugr 1) Go to Socrative and get into room #2648.
2) Answer the ACT Practice Passage ON the passage, making sure to underline, circle, and summarize as you read and make meaning of the passage itself. 3) Put your answers into Socrative when Mrs. E starts the activity. 4) Wait for Mrs. E to review the passage answers. Think about what happens in the two main stages of photosynthesis. Write TWO ways the two stages of photosynthesis are connected.
a) What words from Objective #1a do you still not understand?
b) What can you do to fix that? When you're finished, get out the ATP model you were working on yesterday and finish it. Show it to Mrs. E when you're done, and then answer question #3 on p. 9 of your packet. Show that to Mrs. E when you're done as well. You have until 8:55 to work. Rate each of the following answers to I can statement #1a (the first one one the cabinet whiteboards to your right!) as either a 5, 6, 7, 8 or a 9. Then, explain WHY you rated each of them the way that you did.
a. cell metabolism is when a substance goes through catabolism then through anabolsimn and breaks down things through photosynthesis. b. Cell metabolism gets energy (ATP) from photosynthesis and cell respiration. An autotrophic metabolism makes its own food where as a heterotroph takes it's own food. Photosynthesis is an anabolic metabolism and cell respiration is a catabolic metabolism. c. Cell Metabolism is the process a cell uses to make energy. Photosynthesis is used by Autotrophs and is an Anabolic method of making sugar out of ATP. Cell Respiration is used by Heterotrophs and is a Catabolic method of making ATP |
Journal GuidelinesEveryone must answer the daily question. If you don't know, guess! I need thoughtful answers, not necessarily correct ones. You must put your REAL name on your response. No email is needed. Inappropriate names or responses will receive and automatic discipline referral. Archives
