Learning Activities
1. Go to this site and take a tour of DNA. In a Google Doc of your very own, take notes over the two Objectives at the top of the page in any way that makes sense to you. If you have earbuds, get them out!
2. Now go to this site and take notes over the structure of DNA (Objective #2b) in that same Google Doc from number 1.
3. Do this interactive activity where you have to put together the bases of DNA. Add anything you need to add to your Google Doc.
4. Read this overview of DNA structure. Decide how the information on this sheet will help you answer the I can statements at a level 9. At the bottom of your Google Doc note sheet, rewrite each objective, and then attempt to answer it at a level 9 using the information on the overview you just read plus everything else we have talked about so far concerning DNA structure.
5. Get a copy of the DNA Structure Modeling Activity from Mrs. E, get some tape and scissors, and get to building your own DNA molecule!
