a.)Anabolism and Catabolism are the two parts of Cell Metabolism. Anabolism is used in Autotroph to make bigger bonds from smaller molecules. Photosynthesis is also used in Autotroph to create food. Catabolism is used in Heterotroph to break down large bonds into small bonds. Cell metabolism is used in Heterotroph.

Cell metabolism is when a substance goes through catabolism and then goes through anabolism to make energy. Photosynthesis uses both of these methods to convert light energy to chemical energy.
